Harper Bernays enlists philanthropy specialist

Harper Bernays appoints former ANZ Trustees managing director David Ward as consultant.

Investment manager Harper Bernays has appointed David Ward as a specialist consultant on philanthropy and not-for profits.

Ward will advise Harper Bernays and its clients on best practice for charitable giving.

Ward spent 20 years with ANZ in various executive roles, including four as managing director of ANZ Trustees.

He is a director of Social Ventures Australia Private Ancillary Fund Service and is on the Council of Philanthropy Australia.

 
 

Ward was also a member of the international panel that developed the Investment Management Code of Conduct for Endowments, Foundations and Charitable Organisations for the CFA Institute between 2009 and 2010.
