Legalsuper has been selected by ATSILS as its default super fund for staff members.

Legalsuper has been appointed as default superannuation fund by the Queensland-based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (ATSILS).

ATSILS employs 160 staff and provides legal services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians in Queensland.

"ATSILS sees value in appointing a fund that understands the legal industry and provides superannuation products and services designed specifically for legal professionals," ATSILS finance manager Ross Sivo said.

"Legal organisations like ATSILS also want direct access to super fund staff, including visits to our workplace by super fund staff, which is something that specialised funds like legalsuper offer," he said.

Legalsuper was also recently appointed default fund for the Aboriginal Legal Service of Western Australia.
