Technology firm Bravura Solutions has signed a $10 million contract with life insurance company New York Life International's (NYLI) Asian office.

Bravura opened an office in South-East Asia in February in order to serve clients in the region.

"The contract with NYLI will substantially strengthen our strategic growth in the life insurance market," Bravura chief executive Simon Woodfull said.

"Although we were up against other world-leading insurance software providers, it was the rich functionality and strong operational fit to NYLI's business requirements that enabled Bravura's leading Talisman application to prevail."
