Fund manager has looked internally to hire another investment professional.

Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) continues to build its investment team, hiring Michael Jenneke as a director and investment manager to its Australian equities team.

The appointment is internal, with Jenneke moving across from the firm's investment banking division. He worked in the equities research team as a director of Australian Retail Research.

"As a highly rated analyst with over 16 years buy and sell side research experience in Australian equities, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the asset management business," CSAM head of Australian equities Stephen Giubin said.

Jenneke's previous role will be filled by vice president of the equities research team, Andrew McLennan.
