Investment manager loses sales manager, expands marketing team.

Vanguard's national sales manager George Vassos is to leave the company after nine years in the job. 

Vassos has had a successful career with Vanguard, a Vanguard spokesperson said. "The business has grown a lot during the nine years that he has been with us. He now feels it is time to look at new and different opportunities," the spokesperson said.

He will be leaving Vanguard on 13 April and the company is looking for his replacement.

In November, Vanguard's institutional marketing manager Leanne Henderson left the company.

The company then decided to structure our marketing team along functional lines rather than on a retail and institutional basis.

 
 

As a result of the new structure, Vanguard created two new jobs hiring Jodie Levitski as a marketing communications and public relations manager and Hilary Spear as a marketing manger, advertising and campaigns.

Spear was previously Industry Fund Services's communications manager.
