Russell Investment Group has hired Peter Worcester and Tony Miller to its institutional team in Melbourne.

Russell Investment Group has hired Peter Worcester and Tony Miller to its institutional team in Melbourne.

Worcester, who was previously running his own investment consultancy, joins the firm as a senior consultant in the alternative assets team.

Miller joins Russell's actuarial and benefits team from consultant Deloitte.

Worcester, who will report to Russell director of alternative strategies Andrew Goddard, has also worked at Commonwealth Investment Management, Mercer and Axa.

 
 

Miller will report to director of actuarial and benefits consulting Steve Schubert.

Previous to Deloitte, Miller worked at consultant Butler Walker Actuaries, Mercer Human Resource Consulting and the National Mutual Life Association.

He will provide Russell clients with advice on defined benefit funding, liability management and accounting disclosures for employers. 

Russell has $250 billion in assets under management and offices in 40 countries.
