IOOF multi-manager fund MultiMix has awarded a $200 million Australian equities mandate to Dalton Nicol Reid.

Under the arrangement, the equities fund manager will use its investment focus of medium- to long-term returns on IOOF MultiMix fund investors.

“Dalton Nicol Reid’s consistently strong performance over a long period, its efficient investment process focusing on quality stocks, and its relatively low but growing funds under management were all key factors in IOOF MultiMix’s decision to award this mandate,” IOOF portfolio manager Australian equities Daniel Farmer said.

“Dalton Nicol Reid is a great addition to our existing IOOF MultiMix manager line-up, providing an ever-great level of diversification to our investors."

“Our long-term business strategy has been to expand our presence in the institutional space of the investment management industry,” Dalton Nicol Reid chief executive Harley Dalton said.

“We have been working with IOOF for some time now and are pleased to offer their investors the benefits of our investment style and performance.”
