Industry Fund Services (IFS), a provider of specialist advice and product services to the super sector, confirmed it has signed a service agreement for the intra-fund service with Kinetic Super.

Kinetic Super CEO Megan Bolton said introducing intra-fund advice in 2014 would add to the fund’s current advice model for its members.

“Members are increasingly seeking advice in areas such as insurance, contributions and investment choice, and this service will assist them, at no additional cost,” said Ms Bolton.

IFS CEO Bill Danaher said he was delighted to welcome Kinetic Super on board.

“Not only is it validation that IFS is offering the services and support the funds are seeking, it also increases IFS’s penetration of the advice market and means that affordable and appropriate advice is now accessible to more and more Australians,” said Mr Danaher.

Kinetic Super, an industry fund representing 350,000 working Australians, was originally formed from divisions of Recruitment Super, Australian Enterprise Super and SMARTpension.
