Morningstar to provide share research to RBS Morgans

Morningstar Australasia will provide international share research to national retail stockbroking and wealth management group RBS Morgans Holdings, in a new deal.

RBS Morgans will have access to the Morningstar’s online Analyst Research Center, including analyst reports, ratings and data on stocks, managed funds, exchange traded funds and commodities, as well as proprietary Morningstar tools.

Morningstar Australasia chief executive Anthony Serhan said investors and advisers are increasingly looking to incorporate international companies into their portfolios.

“Morningstar's consistent global framework for equity analysis means that RBS Morgans advisers will be able to easily and effectively compare local and international companies to identify those most suitable for their clients' portfolios," he said.

 
 

RBS Morgans managing director Brian Sheahan said the agreement complements other recent initiatives as part of the firm’s broader strategic goal of providing its advisers and clients with quality research.
