NGS Super has appointed three new trustee directors to its board. Directors from education sector Geoff Newcombe, Garry Le Duff and Christian Wikinson have solid experience in the education sector, according to CEO Anthony Rodwell-Ball.

"Garry and Geoff are both from the Association of Independent Schools and join NGS Super as employer representative directors, while Christine, who joins as a member representative director, is both a teacher and president of the NSW ACT Independent Education Union," he said.

"As the industry fund for employees of non-government schools, we're committed to the sector, and the decision to appoint these three directors is a reflection of that.

"Garry, Geoff and Christine will bring a fresh perspective and valuable insights to their roles, ensuring that NGS Super remains relevant and continues to meet the needs of its members working in this space."

Dr Newcombe is the executive director of the Association of Independent Schools of NSW. He has previously worked as a teacher and has extensive school governance and management experience. He is also an adjunct associate professor in the School of Education at the University of New South Wales.

Mr Le Duff is the former chief executive of the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia, which he held for over 17 years. He previously held senior management positions in the VET sector and higher education.

Ms Wilkinson is the current president of the NSW ACT Independent Education Union. She is a secondary school teacher, was a trustee director of NGS Super from 2000 to 2003 and has been an alternate director since 2003.
