A large number of funds managed by Dimensional have been added to the Axa Asia Pacific North platform.

Axa Asia Pacific has added almost 30 new managed funds to its North platform, including 15 funds managed by Dimensional.

The new funds, which were added earlier this week, bring the total number of funds on the North platform to 220 managed funds.

The Dimensional funds include offerings in investment sectors such as Australian equities, emerging markets, fixed interest and global equities.

Dimensional rejects stock-picking and market timing and instead uses enhanced indexing to construct portfolios.

But these funds can only be recommended by advisers who have been approved by Dimensional.

In additon to the Dimensional offerings the North platform was boosted by the inclusion of the AMP Capital Australian Equity Concentrated Fund, Antares Small Companies Fund, DWS Global Equity Agribusiness Fund, Goldman Sachs Australian Equities Wholesale Fund, IFP Global Franchise Fund (hedged), Invesco Wholesale Global Property Securities Fund (hedged), ipac Life Choices Index 50, Index 70 and Index 85 funds, UBS Australian Small Companies Fund and the Vanguard International Credit Securities Indexed Fund (hedged).
