RBC Dexia has appointed a new Australian operations director following the promotion of Gordon Little.

RBC Dexia Investor Services has appointed Yvonne Hurst as operations director for Australia.

Hurst joins the Sydney office from RBC Dexia in the United Kingdom, where she was head of fund services in London.

She replaces Gordon Little, who will move to a new role as Asia-Pacific client solutions and business transitions director.

Hurst will report directly to RBC Dexia Asia-Pacific head of operations Dominique Draux and will sit on the local management committee, working with RBC Dexia Australia managing director David Travers, to implement the local strategy.

"We welcome Yvonne to Australia and look forward to her adding to an already strong team dedicated to providing our clients a truly exceptional service experience," Travers said.

Hurst also held roles at RBC Dexia in business planning and fund accounting.

She is a qualified accountant and has 18 years' experience in funds management and outsourcing services.
