CFS loses industrials portfolio manager

CFS Australian shares portfolio manager Justin Lannen has left the firm to pursue an opportunity in New York.

Colonial First State (CFS) Australian shares portfolio manager Justin Lannen has left the firm to pursue an opportunity in New York.

Lannen was a member of Simon Shields' GDP-Plus team and was responsible for running the CFS Wholesale Industrial Share Fund.

CFS said Jim Taylor, currently portfolio manager for the firm's Geared and Leaders funds, would assume responsibility for the industrial portfolio.

The analysis of utilities and transport infrastructure stocks will pass to analysts Justin McCarthy and Naz Ressas.

 
 

The firm also indicated it was looking to hire a further analyst.
