AdminPartners has improved its systems and added more staff as it targets the mid-sized superannuation market.

AdminPartners has upgraded its technology and added three staff as it positions itself for growth in the superannuation administration market.

The superannuation administration firm will target mid-size superannuation funds.

"Over time, and building on our strengths over many years in the market, AdminPartners aims to become the leading superannuation administration service provider for mid-sized funds," AdminPartners director John Donovan said.

Three people have been hired: Chris Beckman, Nick Maria and Janelle McAliece.

Beckman will work as a senior business analyst and compliance officer. He previously worked at Financial IQ.

Maria has been hired as a senior analyst programmer.

McAliece will join the firm from Supernet, a partner company of AdminPartners.

The upgrades include new website servers, which will allow more users to access the system. The back-end database has also been upgraded.

"The next step is to commence the second phase of the upgrade to advance the back-end core database," Donovan said.

"This upgrade will further improve the performance, stability and security of the site and take our product to be amongst the most technologically advanced solutions in the market to date."

GPen was the original name of the business. In December last year, the firm rebranded to AdminPartners after Queensland Trustees & Investment invested in the business.
