The industry fund has added two more investment options for its members.

AMIST Super has introduced two more investment options for its 80,000 members, now offering a capital stable and high growth option.

The capital stable option will have exposure to investments with less risk. The option will have a targeted asset allocation to fixed interest and cash of around 70 per cent.

The high growth option will invest in Australian and international equities.

The options were introduced to meet the different needs of members, according to AMIST Super chief executive John Livanas.

"Members with a low risk profile who perhaps wish to conserve capital over a longer period may find the capital stable option suits them," Livanas said.

"Those members who want a pure equities exposure without having to manage the actual share purchase themselves may find the high growth option suitable."

AMIST Super now has five investment options including secure, balanced and growth.
