K2 Asset Management plans to move all of its funds to a unit pricing model.

Fund manager K2 Asset Management has moved its international absolute return fund to daily unit pricing.

The K2 Select International Absolute Return Fund previously used a monthly net asset value methodology.

"We decided to adopt unit pricing because of demand from our clients and platforms," K2 Asset Management head of distribution Andrew Hall said.

"The benefit of unit pricing is that it provides greater liquidity for the fund."

He said the firm was looking to apply unit pricing to its Australian and Asian absolute return funds.

"We just have our toes in the water with the move to unit pricing. We have established our back office and have set up agreements with our custodian and administrator.

"We will be looking to apply unit pricing to our other two funds."
