Queensland-based AustSafe is the latest industry fund to offer financial planning to its 163,000 members.

AustSafe has teamed with Money Solutions to provide financial advice to its members.

"Traditional advice services have always been available to high-end customers. We think it's important for all members to be able to access relevant advice regardless of the issue or size of their account," AustSafe chief executive Craig Stevens said.

The advice provided by Money Solutions will range from comprehensive financial planning to single issue advice.

Members of the fund will receive their first consultation free of charge. Future consultations will attract a fee that will be deducted from the member's superannuation account.

Fund members can also access advice via the telephone and internet.

Money Solutions provides advice to other industry funds, including Asset Super, REST Superannuation, Intrust Super, Club Plus Super, The Building Unions Super Scheme - Queensland, Christian Super and the Catholic Superannuation and Retirement Fund.
