A specialist job has been created as more money flows into Perennial's growth business.

Perennial Investment Partners has hired Nick Sladen as an analyst and dealer to its Australian equities growth team.

"Nick's appointment represents an extension of the resources within the Perennial growth team and has been timed to coincide with the steady growth we are experiencing," Perennial Growth Management partner Lee Mickelburough said.

The Perennial Growth Australian Shares Trust is now listed on Aviva's Navigator platform, in the Perpetual Protected Series and within Lonsec model portfolios.

Sladen has worked as a business analyst for the National Australia Bank, Goldman Sachs JB Were and Australia Post.

"As an active growth manager who places a great deal of emphasis on conducting our own company research, it is critical to have an investment team which has the indepth analytical skills," Mickelburough said.
