Corporate watchdog continues court proceedings against Westpoint associated company.

For the third time, the Supreme Court of NSW has ordered a freeze remain on assets from the Westpoint-linked group Kebbel.

The Supreme Court of NSW extended orders for Neil Burnard and Palentia (formerly known as Kebbel (NSW) and Burnard's wife Jennifer Robbins and BDI (the Burnard parties), preventing them from disposing of their assets until 5pm, July 30, 2007.

The court proceedings were first brought by ASIC back in July 2006.

The court also extended its orders to cover Burnard's wife Jennifer Robbins who is the shareholder of BDI Pty Ltd (the Burnard parties).  BDI is the trustee of several trusts of which members of the Burnard family are beneficiaries.

Burnard and Palentia will still be able pay ordinary living expenses including school fees for the Burnard family's children and legal expenses. Burnard has also been banned from leaving the country.

The matter will return to court on 30 July 2007 at 10am.
