Professional Financial Solutions appoints group insurance specialist Rhonda Virtue.

Independent financial services consulting firm Professional Financial Solutions (PFS) has appointed a new principal, Rhonda Virtue, to oversee group insurance.

Virtue will consult on a range of insurance matters to employers and key stakeholders in the superannuation and insurance sectors.

Prior to her appointment, Virtue was at Asteron and was responsible for preparing the company for its entry into the group insurance market. She was previously a consultant with Rice Warner Actuaries and head of group insurance at AON.

"We are delighted to have Rhonda join us. Her experience and skills complement the current PFS team very well, and extend the breadth and depth of services we can offer our clients in relation to insurance," PFS director John Newman said.

Virtue has nearly 20 years' experience in the group insurance and superannuation sectors and has consulted to the major industry funds, master trusts and public sector funds.
