Westscheme appoints a new trustee director.

Secretary for UnionsWA Simone McGurk is set to join industry fund Westscheme as trustee director, after Dave Robinson stepped down from the position after six years of service.

McGurk has experience as a radio producer and was one of the first women to be elected as an office bearer for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union.

Robinson has moved to take up the position of conciliator for the national workplace relations tribunal Fair Work Australia.
