AFM Investment Partners has created a new senior institutional sales manager position to cope with its growing client base.

Due to growth in its client base, fund manager AFM Investment Partners has appointed Craig Barnes to the newly-created role of senior institutional sales manager.

Reporting to AFM managing director John Donovan, Barnes will be responsible for managing key account and consultant relationships for major AFM clients in the institutional market.

Barnes has more than 20 years' experience in financial markets and has held senior positions with Centro Properties, HSBC, Austock and National Asset Management.

His main focus has been sales and relationship management in the institutional markets across all asset classes.
