In a statement released yesterday, BT Financial Group said the launch of 'BT Investment Solutions' will bring together its investment capabilities into one team.
“BT Investment Solutions [will bring] together the diverse investment capabilities across BT Financial Group, including Advance Asset Management, equities, Westpac Online Investing and BT’s in-house advice model portfolio construction team – eQR,” a statement from BT said.
BT Financial Group said heading the new investment team will be Patrick Farrell, Rodney Greenhalgh, Anthony Lane and Michael McGlinn.
“[Mr Farrell] has been appointed chief investment officer, and continues to oversee the strategic growth of all investment funds.
“Mr Lane has been appointed chief operating officer [and] joins BT Financial Group having previously been [the] global operating officer for Mercer’s investment business based in London,” the statement said.
BT also said Mr Greenhalgh who currently works as BT’s head of retirement will be acting head of investment product solutions and Ms McGlinn has been appointed head of investment distribution.
“Ms McGlinn is moving from her current role as head of corporate super distribution, BT Financial Group,” BT said.
