AllianceBernstein said Ben Moore will be responsible for its retail sales strategy as the company continues to “expand its offering” in the Australian retail market.
“[Mr Moore’s] appointment signals our continued momentum in our Australian business, in deepening our relationships with clients and advisers and in enhancing our service offering to them,” AllianceBernstein Australia chief executive Jen Driscoll said.
"This has been an exciting year for AllianceBernstein in Australia, where the firm’s strong and distinctive global research capability has been instrumental in winning mandates across our equities and fixed-income platforms and in both our institutional and retail channels,” she said.
Prior to his new role Mr Moore worked for Russell Investments as head of wholesale distribution.
Mr Moore has also worked for a number of other companies including ING Australia, AMP Financial Planning and Colonial State Bank.
AllianceBernstein also added that since entering the retail market in 2013 it has launched four funds and plans to launch two more – the AllianceBernstein Emerging Consumer Fund and the Global Plus Fixed Income Fund.
