Software provider GBST has announced the ‘go live’ of its SuperStream Gateway technology ready for the July 1 start date of the new regulation.

GBST chief executive Rob De Dominicis said the technology is “the final piece of the SuperStream puzzle”.

“This is a significant achievement and highlights the depth of GBST’s understanding of the industry, technology, capability and the ability to deliver robust solutions in line with aggressive legislative timelines,” he said.

GBST claimed that all of the firm's clients would be ready to receive SuperStream standard employer superannuation contributions on July 1.

The company also indicated that it will be the gateway solution provider behind six of Australia’s 12 leading SMSF service offerings.

Class Super, a provider of SMSF administration software, will be among the clients using GBST’s gateway.

Class Super chief executive Kevin Bungard said “GBST has been instrumental in enabling us to deliver SuperStream solutions to our clients”.

“It’s an outstanding achievement for GBST to have fully implemented SuperStream before the ATO mandated dates,” Mr Bungard added.
