The forum, titled ‘Creating resilience and sustainability in banking’, will run this Thursday 4 July from 11:00am to 1pm at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney.

The forum was organised in collaboration with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Bank of England and PwC, and will “present the latest strategic frameworks for creating stability and resilience in banking, present more effective models of funding, discuss the effects of Basel III Liquidity Coverage Ratio and provide fresh thinking on the relationship between macroeconomics, business fluctuations and the financial cycle,” Finsia stated.

The speakers include Federal Reserve Bank of New York director of research Dr Jamie McAndrews, Bank for International Settlements director of research and statistics Dr Claudio Borio, and Reserve Bank of Australia deputy governor Dr Philip Lowe. Registration is available via Finsia’s website.
