Deverall named Hunter Hall chief

Former Perpetual boss David Deverall will assume the chief executive role on 30 July.

David Deverall has been named the new chief executive of Hunter Hall International.

The former Perpetual boss will assume his position as well as join the company's board of directors on 30 July.

"I'm honoured to be joining Hunter Hall, a company with a proud history as Australia's largest dedicated ethical investment organisation with an excellent long-term investment track record," Deverall said in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

"Despite the difficult current market conditions, the fundamentals for the investment industry remain strong and Hunter Hall is well positioned to pursue growth opportunities.

Deverall was chief and managing director of Perpetual between 2003 and 2011.
