Axa has made a new online tool that will promote efficiency for advisers.

Axa Australia today launched a new online application to allow advisers to interact with the financial services organisation in a more efficient manner.

The new portal called adviserweb has consolidated 20 websites into one and contains the details of more than 1 million clients and access to over 250 products and services.

"We've consolidated a range of innovative services, now accessible with a single login. Advisers now have the ability to access all their AXA client information in one place. This includes superannuation, pension, investment and insurance client data, comprehensive online transactions, functionality and valuable information that will support their businesses," Axa general manager digital business Cam Cimino said.

Ease of doing business was the number one reason for developing the new service according to Cimino.

Features of the new web portal include facilitating access to the Summit platform and Elevate insurance applications through one online location, and improving the client review process through the Adviser Review Template tool that allows the management of multiple client portfolios.

Axa's adviserweb had been in development for over five years and cost $40 million to construct.

To ensure the new facility satisfied as many of the advisers demands as possible the financial services firm consulted practitioners and their support staff continuously over this period of development.

"Recently, we have been focussed on educating financial advisers about the benefits of adviserweb and today, we already have 9000 registered users. Our objective is to increase this to over 10,000 by the end of the year," Cimino said.
