Two additional staff members have been appointed to Towers Watson.

Towers Watson has strengthened its Australian investment team with the appointment of two new members of staff.

Louise Oakley will be joining the global consulting firm's strategy group as an investment consultant, while Brent Snow will be taking on the role of investment analyst.

Oakley brings to her new position nine years of industry experience. Her main area of responsibility at Towers Watson will be to conduct research on the various asset classes and provide strategic investment advice.

Oakley moves across to Towers Watson from Mercer where she was involved in strategy and asset allocation as an investment consultant.

Before her stint at Mercer, Oakley was employed with Mellon Human Resources & Investor Solutions.

Meanwhile Snow takes on his new role having spent some time with Tarrants Financial Consultants as a client adviser.

Prior to this Snow worked at UBS Wealth Management in Chicago.

"Louise and Brent are great hires for us and are very welcome additions to our team," Towers Watson Australian investment business leader Graeme Miller said.

"We believe that investment strategy, rigorous research and analysis are key to delivering compelling ideas to clients that give them a competitive edge and to this end, we will continue to strengthen our teams in these areas." he said.
