The listed financial services firm has reshuffled its leadership teams for AMP Financial Services and AMP Capital Investors.

AMP has restructured the leadership teams for its AMP Financial Services (AFS) and AMP Capital Investors divisions.

The move follows AMP's merger with Axa Asia Pacific Holdings Australian and New Zealand businesses, which was implemented on 30 March.

Within AMP Capital Investors multi-asset group, ipac chief investment officer Jeff Rogers has accepted the newly created role of head of investment solutions for retail, reporting to David Kiddie.

"This will be in addition to his current role.  Mr Rogers' retail experience and the direction he has provided to ipac will be central to the value he can add to AMP Capital in this role," AMP Capital Investors managing director Stephen Dunne said.

Under the AFS changes, the group will now have a new structure which comprises eight divisions effective 1 August, AFS managing director Craig Meller said.

Axa general manager of sales and marketing Adrian Emery will lead the AFS strategic sales and marketing unit.

He will be responsible for developing the AFS business strategy and customer value proposition and setting sales and growth targets.

AMP director of product manufacturing Rob Caprioli will lead the banking and wealth management products segment.

He will be tasked with managing all superannuation, retirement and investment products and platforms including North.

Caprioli will remain responsible for AMP Bank

Axa general manager of product Ian Campbell will oversee the wealth protection and mature products division.

He will be responsible for all risk and mature products and the development of a single risk product within the next two years.

Axa chief operating officer Wendy Thorpe will head up AFS operations, with responsibility for all product administration operations including underwriting and claims.

AMP Financial Planning, Advice and Services and the Axa financial advice network will be unchanged. It will continue to be led by Steven Helmich and Andrew Waddell, respectively.

Meller said ipac, which will continue to be led by Neil Swindell, would have additional responsibility of AMP Private Wealth Management.
