Investment manager Vanguard is set to list three new Australian equities exchange-traded funds (ETF).

The ETFs - the Vanguard Australian Shares High Yield, Vanguard MSCI Australian Large Companies Index and Vanguard MSCI Australian Small Companies Index - are expected to start trading on the local market from 26 May.

"These three low-cost funds complement our existing range of ETFs by offering further choice to investors wishing to augment their Australian shares exposure," Vanguard Investments Australia chief investment officer for Asia-Pacific Joseph Brennan said.

Additionally, Vanguard said it would reduce the management expense ratio on its existing Australian Shares Index ETF to 0.15 per cent from 0.27 per cent and Property Securities Index ETF from 0.34 per cent to 0.25 per cent.
