Colonial First State (CFS) has appointed Marianne Perkovic to head its advice businesses, replacing Paul Barrett.
"Marianne is one of the most highly-respected advice professionals in the marketplace and brings significant experience of the business from her current position of general manager distribution as well as an impressive depth of knowledge about the retail funds management, advice and investment industries," CFS chief executive Brian Bissaker said.
"The already strong advice business will be strengthened under Marianne's leadership and is well positioned to handle the ongoing challenges of regulatory change.
"The selection of internal candidates continues to illustrate the strength and reputation of the Colonial First State brand and its ability to retain experienced and high-calibre candidates."
Perkovic joined CFS in January 2010 from Count Financial, where she was chief executive and managing director.
Barrett left CFS to become ANZ's new advice and distribution general manager last month.
CFS's advice brands include Commonwealth Financial Planning, Financial Wisdom, Whittaker Macnaught and Bankwest Financial Advice.
