Australian investment manager JB Global has launched a new India and China investment for retail, self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) and wholesale investors.

The JB Global Chindia Income and Equity Accelerator fund provides exposure to the Hang Seng Chinese Enterprise Index and the SGX Nifty Index.

The investment is 100 per cent capital protected and accessed through a non-recourse loan.

Investors can borrow the full investment amount at an interest rate of 5.25 per cent a year fixed for the entire three-year term. The investment pays up to 9 per cent a year through contingent coupons, on top of any capital growth.

Investors would pay a 10 per cent performance fee on any upside, plus a 1.5 per cent currency hedging fee to eliminate foreign exchange risk.

"China and India now own the bulk of foreign reserves, which are nearly double their foreign debt," JB Global founder and chief executive Justin Beeton said.

"With solid fiscal positions, relatively low household debt, high household savings and low corporate leverage, we see significant continued upside in these markets."
