Deutsche Bank's asset management arm, DWS Investments, has replaced research and platform manager Rebecca Jacques.

Deutsche Bank has hired Jody Fitzgerald as research and platform manager for its asset management division, DWS Investments Australia.

With over a decade of industry experience under her belt, Fitzgerald replaced Rebecca Jacques - who will leave later this month and return to the firm next year.

DWS deputy head of asset management Chris Larsen said Fitzgerald's experience will be vital for further development of DWS's research and platforms relations in Australia.

"We believe that providing researchers and platforms with a single point of contact is important for consistent and effective working relationships," he said.

Fitzgerald formerly worked for Skandia as head of retail services in Australia, where she was responsible for building the investment and consulting service for its retail clients.

DWS Investments, the global retail asset management branch of Deutsche Bank, manages $29.2 billion in Australia and $432 billion worldwide.
