Perth planner in $1.5 million rap

WA adviser accused of conning investors out of $1.5 million over five years.

A Perth financial adviser has been charged with defrauding investors to the tune of $1.5 million.

Antonio Pisano, a director and shareholder of Pisano Enterprises, trading as Pisano Financial Services based in Gosnells, Perth, has pleaded not guilty to 45 charges of fraud at Perth Magistrates Court.

ASIC laid 33 charges on Pisano in August and another 12 this month. All charges relate to cash from investors taken between June 1996 and July 2001. None of the money has been recovered.

He was remanded on bail until February 28.
