MFS Investment Management, Perpetual, ING Australia, PMI Mortgage Insurance and Lift Capital all hire.

MFS Investment Management has appointed Grant Harris as senior fund manager for the flagship Premium Income Fund. Harris was formerly head of Macquarie Applied Portfolio Solutions. 

Perpetual has boosted its presence in the wholesale market with the addition of four new staff. Former Morningstar head of research Justin Walsh and former JPMorgan Asset Management staffer Suzanne Pence join as asset class specialists, with particular focus on relationships with researchers and asset consultants.

The two appointments follow the August hiring of Matt Russell, previously head of sales with InTech Consulting, and Greg Johnson, previously associate director with Macquarie Funds Management.

ING Australia has appointed Aidan Kelleher as NSW regional manager. Kelleher was previously director of business development with UBS Global Asset Management and also formerly head of wealth management distribution at nab. He will lead the development of the sales team and drive the growth across the ING product range in NSW.

PMI Mortgage Insurance has appointed Beatrice Jackson as head of service. Jackson, a chartered accountant with 20 years' experience in financial services, is responsible for all operational aspects of mortgage insurance processing.

Boutique company Lift Capital has appointed Matt Bushby as a business development manager based in Sydney. Bushby was previously a senior relationship manager for Barclays International and Private Banking in London and a business development manager with Australian Skandia.
