PFS names four new directors

The new directors at PFS are Martin Fitzpatrick, Thach Huynh, Rebecca Johnstone and Simone Knight.

Professional Financial Solutions (PFS) has made four senior consultants equity partners and directors.

"We are delighted these senior colleagues, all of whom have already contributed an enormous amount to the firm, will be joining the leadership team," directors Doug Drysdale and John Newman said in a statement.

"The energy and enthusiasm they bring is very positive for the future of PFS and we look forward to working together with them to take the firm to a new level of success."

The new directors are Martin Fitzpatrick, Thach Huynh, Rebecca Johnstone and Simone Knight.

Fitzpatrick is an actuary who joined PFS in 2002. He consults to superannuation funds, industry associations and government entities.

Huynh, who joined the company in 2001, is an associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and a senior associate of Finsia. He provides specialist financial modelling and valuation advice on remuneration, employee benefits and product and project development, including mergers and acquisitions.

Johnstone develops policy and gives strategic advice to industry associations and professional bodies. She joined PFS in 2008.

Knight advises on governance, risk and compliance matters, and facilitates workshops on strategic planning and risk. She also conducts performance evaluations of superannuation trustee boards. She joined PFS in 2005.

PFS is an employee-owned consultancy that specialises in superannuation, general insurance, life insurance, financial modelling, group insurance and other financial services.
