Standard & Poor's Fund Services (S&P) has assigned its three-star 'new' rating to the GVI Global Industrial Share Unhedged Fund.

The fund, which has a short history, invests in global listed stocks using a benchmark-agnostic bottom-up approach with a preference for companies that are able to pay sustainable dividend streams.

"The GVI team has recently experienced some staff turnover, although the manager has been proactive in its recruitment efforts," S&P Fund Services analyst John Huynh.

He said the most recent departure was senior analyst and equity stakeholder Stephen Arnold.

GVI has hired Grant Cullens in a senior role and two junior equity analysts.
