Company building new team in Hong Kong

AMP Capital has appointed Andy Peng for the new role of portfolio manager/analyst in the Asian equities team, the company announced.

Based in Hong Kong, Mr Peng will cover the telecoms, utilities and healthcare sectors, Pan Asia, and consumer discretionary sector, ex-Greater China.

"The team is now fully resourced and we are looking forward to Andy helping us build on the early progress we've made, following the team move to Hong Kong," said head of Asia ex-Greater China Jonathan Reoch.

AMP Capital relocated its Asian equities team to Hong Kong in September 2012. It has hired four portfolio managers/analysts and moved two existing team members to the region.
