NSW State Super has appointed Mark O'Brien as general manager of investments.
Mr O'Brien, who has more than 30 years' investment and superannuation experience, was previously chief investment officer at AMP Capital Investors.
He will lead State Super's investment team which manages more than $35.8 billion of assets on behalf of members and the NSW Government.
Chairman of State Super, Michael Carapiet, said Mr O'Brien's experience would make him a great asset to the company.
"Mark's senior investment experience and leadership skills will be invaluable and we welcome him to our organisation," Mr Carapiet said.
