La Trobe Financial has appointed Sally Humphris as its new head of institutional sales.
Ms Humphris has more than 21 years' experience in the Australian financial services sector, according to La Trobe.
Previously, she managed a third party distribution business focusing on institutional clients, and has also held senior management positions with international investment banks, La Trobe said.
Ms Humphris brings "an extensive network of well-developed relationships within the superannuation, consultant, family office and retail segments of the market," the company said.
She also has a strong technical background through her work as an equities analyst within the real estate investment trust sector as well as a strong sales background, La Trobe said.
