Financial planning software provider Coin is on the lookout for a new managing director.

Coin Software managing director Darelle Jenkins has resigned from her post.

Jenkins announced her resignation from the Macquarie-owned firm last week.

She will remain with the firm until 20 November.

Jenkins' resignation was her own decision, a Macquarie spokesperson said.

"We wish her well and thank her for her contribution," the spokesperson said.

Coin is in the process of finding Jenkins' replacement.

Jenkins joined Coin as managing director in September 2007.

Prior to joining Coin, she held senior roles with MLC, Legal & General, Colonial and Commonwealth Bank Group.
