CommInsure has appointed Kevin Goss as head of adviser distribution effective from 11 June 2012.
In his new role, Goss will be responsible for the insurer's national relation insurance sales.
He joins CommInsure from OnePath where he was head of insurance sales.
"He's made a significant contribution to the business. He has been a valued member of the OnePath insurance team a team that has driven Onepath to its market leading position for life risk sales," a OnePath spokesman told InvestorDaily.

Commenting on Goss's appointment, CommInsure general manager of retail advice Tim Browne said: "Kevin brings with him a wealth of experience in insurance distribution and extensive networks, which will further enhance CommInsure's strong position in the national adviser market."
Goss has more than 28 years experience in the insurance industry, having worked in positions both in Australia and in the United States.
His experience covers business development, national account management, marketing, product development, technical and practice management roles.
