State Street Corporation has launched an investment tool to help super funds comply with Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) prudential standard SPS 530, which comes into effect on July 1.

"Our new suite of investment analytic tools can help funds comply with APRA's new requirements by analysing fund investment data, running stress tests, and producing detailed reports," State Street Australia's head of investment analytics, Babloo Sarin, said.

"By allowing trustees and investment teams to drill through all levels of their fund's investment, they can analyse the sources of risk and return and monitor mandate compliance."

A risk platform, truView, is also included, which will test a fund's investments across indicators such as liquidity levels in the event of market-based shocks.
