Following the departure of Vicky Ampoulos in April, Trust has a new head of its financial advice business.

Financial services group Trust Company (Trust) has hired Soula Tsipidis as head of its financial planning division.

Tsipidis replaces Vicky Ampoulos who left the company in April to join Mercer Wealth Solutions as a financial advice operations manager.

Tsipidis will manage the strategy for Trust's financial planning business which, to date manages more than $1 billion in funds under advice.

"Soula's specialisation and knowledge in financial planning will be extremely beneficial to Trust and our clients," Trust Company executive general manger of financial services Assyat David said.

Tsipidis has about 20 years' experience in the industry and has most recently worked with CU Financial Advisory Services as a general manager.
