Generosity of Sydney's financial services community brings Charity YoungCare $100,000 closer to opening first facility for round-the-clock care for young people in Queensland.
In fact, in context, the money raised by Sydney's financial services community (FICAP) pays for three-quarters of a room in the YoungCare facility. The first to open in Queensland will have 18 rooms
Twenty financial services groups contributed to the charity and for their donation were able to nominate a singer to perform with the Punters and Collectors band.
Asgard Wealth Solutions national events manager Jan Sinclair was awarded a trophy for the voice of the night. She sang "Stop" by Sam Brown but it was a close call with Stephen Aguilera-Mendoza from Count coming a very close second singing Bow River by Cold Chisel.
