HFA Asset Management (HFAAM) has appointed financial services executive Craig Mowll as its new chief executive.

Mowll has more than 15 years' experience in the financial services industry, including the past 10 years in a variety of senior asset management roles such as Credit Suisse Asset Management director and head of distribution.

The move to appoint Mowll follows HFAAM joint managing directors Oscar Martinis and Robert White's decision to leave from the company.

"After nine years and seven years respectively at HFAAM they have decided to move on to pursue other career ambitions," HFAAM said in a statement.
