MetLife finds replacement for Collis before he ships out to new role based in Hong Kong.

Richard Collis is to move to Hong Kong in his new role as MetLife International vice president.  He sets sail mid-June with his family to settle in Asia.

James Marshall will be stepping into Collis's former role as head of direct business and Julian Carpenter has also been appointed to bolster the distribution team domestically.

Marshall will be mainly responsible for working with key direct marketing clients including Citibank.

Both Marshall and Carpenter were previously with Transamerica. Marshall was most recently client director and Carpenter, strategic development director.

In his new role, Collis's prime responsibility will be strengthening MetLife's regional relationship with Citibank.

MetLife Inc paid US$11.5 billion for Citigroup's insurance business and with that purchase price also got the long-term distribution agreement for up to 10 years.
