The Bonhote Bank Switzerland has entered into a formal relationship with Melbourne-based asset manager Giles Wade.

The partnership, which has been approved by the Swiss regulator, is set to benefit foreign financial institutions looking to invest in Australasia, said Giles Wade managing director Andrew Coloretti.

"Drawing on the strength of 200 years’ experience with the energy and dynamics of the emerging new world of Asia, the collaboration delivers international asset management and fiduciary capabilities," Mr Coloretti said.

"The ability to collaborate cross-border with a philosophically aligned and experienced partner is invaluable. It’s all about trust, credibility and performance," he said.

Australia's developed financial services industry and strong regulatory framework makes it an attractive proposition for foreign partners, added Mr Coloretti.
