The role will take effect on 1 December.

Investment consulting organisation JANA has announced the appointment of Lauren O’Neill as general manager for strategy and innovation amid business growth.

In her new role, she will explore and lead strategic initiatives that support JANA’s growth as well as deliver change from vision through delivery and execution.

Ms O’Neill is currently the head of client development, facilitating a number of key strategic partnerships and change management projects through the firm's period of growth.

She has over 20 years of experience in strategic growth and change roles, in addition to managing client accounts, marketing and distribution teams in Europe and Australia.

Ms O’Neill commented: “I am delighted to be appointed general manager, strategy and innovation at JANA, a firm with exceptionally strong foundations and exciting opportunities for growth and change, with the overarching focus of improving client outcomes.”

Georgina Dudley, the incoming JANA CEO, said Ms O’Neill is “an integral part of the JANA team”.

“Her drive to deliver the best results whilst also pushing the boundaries when it comes to strategic and innovative thinking will ensure the delivery of enhanced outcomes for clients.”

The role of head of client development will be filled on a permanent basis by Sai Srinivasan, who has been acting as head of client development manager for the past 11 months.

Mr Srinivasan has 14 years of industry experience and has held senior distribution roles across several Australian superannuation funds, acting as business development manager at AMP prior to his joining JANA in 2021.

Speaking on the appointment, Ms Dudley said “driving the best possible outcomes for our clients is front and centre,” as JANA continues to grow its practice.

“Both Lauren O’Neill and Sai Srinivasan have a wealth of experience initiating, developing and managing client relationships, and have been instrumental in developing growth strategies and a culture to best support business growth,” she added.

Ms O’Neill will report to the CEO Georgina Dudley and Mr Srinivasan will continue to report to Lauren O’Neill in her new capacity.
